Rosso Restaurant

Brief

Although Rosso had a great reputation and received a lot of publicity for their regular celebrity patrons, their digital image wasn’t quite living up to expectations.

We were therefore tasked with producing a new website that was a more accurate reflection of their establishment. Resolving their pre-existing performance issues and multi-device accessibility was a key consideration for the project, along with creating a modern look and feel.

Action

Our creative approach focused on imagery, utilising the restaurant's beautiful setting, food and drinks to tell the story of a night spent at Rosso.

The implementation of responsive design, coupled with intuitive front end interactions resulted in a memorable user experience. From a technical standpoint we took an in-depth approach to the back end build, allowing new menus, press mentions and event details to be added with ease.

The custom integration of the Open Table booking platform meant Rosso were able to effectively manage their online reservations alongside those received over the phone and in person.

Outcome

The new website launched to great success, receiving an average of 20,000 visits and a significant increase in bookings per month.

Whether visiting on desktop, tablet or mobile you now receive a tailored viewing experience that shows you the information that matters. The new site is a finely blended cocktail of events, menus, drinks with celebrity culture and social media.

We’ve definitely seen an increase in reservations via the website and have had amazing feedback - our customers find the format and information very easy to read.
